IHG to launch Rohini Crowne Plaza

NEW DELHI: Crowne Plaza Rohini,a hotel brand of the InterContinental Hotels Group IHG,is gearing up towards the launch in the second quarter this year. Located in North-West Delhi,it will be the first upscale hotel in the area. Located at Asias second largest sub-city,Rohini,the 16-storeyed hotel will have 183 guest rooms,three Famp;B outlets and a relaxation spa.

NEW DELHI: Real estate magazine Realty Plus recently announced the winners of its Excellence Awards for 2011 for the north and east Zone. The winners included Supertech Limited for developer of the year residential,Amrapali Group for developer of the year residential popular choice and Raheja Developers for developer of the year retail.

Action Group enters flooring sector

NEW DELHI: The 800 million Action Group with diversified business verticals like footwear,electronics,chemicals and real estate has now forayed in wooden flooring under the company Balaji Action Buildwell Action Tesa. Action Tesa,the company says,is the first and only company in India to manufacture laminated flooring. The plants are located in Sitarganj,Uttaranchal,in multiple locations spread over 35 acres with a manufacturing capacity of over 3 million square metres per annum.
