The CBI Thursday filed chargesheet against businessman Abhishek Verma and his wife Anca Maria Neacsu for allegedly taking 530,000 from the Swiss defence manufacturer Rheinmetall Air Defence AG RAD.
The case against the two was registered in June 2012. The CBI chargesheet also names RAD and its India representative,Gerhard Hoy,as accused. The CBI has claimed that the alleged payment was routed to India via the US-based Ganton Ltd,through its subsidiary Ganton India Ltd.
