Cash-for-vote: Chouhan meets ex-MPs,rally next in Kulaste town

The three have been remanded to judicial custody in the cash-for-vote scam.

As senior BJP leader L K Advani renewed his offer to go to the jail to express his solidarity with them,Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today dropped in to visit former BJP MPs Faggan Singh Kulaste and Mahavir Bhagora at Tihar jail.

The three have been remanded to judicial custody in the cash-for-vote scam.

We are with them, Chouhan said afterwards. They are in high spirits.

Kulaste and Bhagora ought to have been lauded for having exposed corruption of the UPA. However,they have been put behind bars, he added.

We will start a protest from September 23 in the state to raise awareness on corruption. There will be a rally in Mandla,home town of Kulaste,on September 29 on the issue, Chouhan said.

The rally will be addressed by Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj.
