SC: Case against Naidu politically motivated NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court on Wednesday provided relief to former Andhra CM N Chandrababu Naidu by upholding a high court judgment that a corruption case against him was politically motivated. A Bench of Justices Markandeya Katju and T S Thakur dismissed a petition filed by former state Congress legal cell chief Naguluri Krishna Kumar Goud in which he accused Naidu and 69 others of committing irregularities in allotment of liquor licenses and causing a loss of about Rs 500 crore to the state exchequer.
