Israel issues list of 477 Palestinians to be freed for captured soldier
JERUSALEM: Israel on Sunday released a list of 477 Palestinians,who would comprise the first batch of prisoners to be released Tuesday in exchange for captive Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit,as part of a landmark swap deal with Hamas. Israel began transferring prisoners to jails in south and centre of the country to prepare for the high-profile swap.

Tibetan monk sets himself on fire
