WASHINGTON: Former US President George W Bush personally authorised a leak about Iraq war strategy to a Washington Post columnist,according to then vice-president Dick Cheney.

He makes the allegation in his forthcoming book In My Time: A Personal and Political Memoir.

ISLAMABAD: A Pakistani anti-terrorism court has ordered the confiscation of former president Pervez Musharrafs property for his failure to appear before it in the 2007 case of former premier Benazir Bhutto killing,court officials said. TRIPOLI: Libya will not extradite Abdel Basset al-Megrahi,the man convicted of the 1988 Lockerbie airline bombing,a minister in Libyas National Transitional Council NTC said Sunday. We will not give any Libyan citizen to the West,Mohammed al-Alagi, the NTC Justice Minister Mohammed al-Alagi said.

TRIPOLI: One of Megrahis neighbours,Ahmed Mlaaty, said the Lockerbie bomber had been whisked away by guards last week when Tripoli fell. Four security men took him,his wife and his sons and left. They left in a Mercedes. Neighbours said Megrahi owns several properties in the Demeshk area of Tripolis Hadba district,one of the smartest in the city. reuters
