DSK lawyers say he wont plead guilty

NEW YORK: After meeting with Manhattan prosecutors on Wednesday,lawyers for Dominique Strauss-Kahn stressed that he was unwilling to plead guilty even to minor charges. William W Taylor III,who along with Benjamin Brafman is representing Strauss-Kahn,said they did not discuss a plea bargain in the case against their client.

Malaysian man takes 30 kids hostage,shot by cops

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian police stormed a kindergarten and shot a man carrying a machete who held 30 children and four teachers hostage for six hours Thursday. The hostages were safe. The unidentified man,believed to have mental problems,was in hospital in critical condition after sustaining a single bullet wound to the head.

Shahzad killing: Panel summons 16 journalists

Lahore: The Pakistani judicial commission probing Saleem Shahzad8217;s killing has summoned 16 reporters to appear on July 9 to record statements. The list includes Hamid Mir,Zahid Hussain and president APNS Hameed Haroon. They have been asked to help the investigation move forward.
