India open to all options on oil import from Iran

New Delhi: The government on Wednesday said it will explore all options to increase import of crude oil from Iran. “Without violating the UN sanctions to the extent that we can push oil import from Iran,that is being explored by the oil ministry,” economic affairs secretary Arvind Mayaram said here.

Raipur: The Jindal Steel and Power Limited (JSPL) is set to invest in a major power plant in Africa. Liberia’s President and Nobel peace prize winner Ellen Johnson Sirleaf visited JSPL’s Raigarh plant in Chhattisgarh Tuesday,where the company signed an MoU with the Liberian Government to set up a 350-MW power plant.
