Wang Gengxiang,6,known as the Masked Boy,was severely burnt in an accident involving a pile of burning straw last winter.

Most of the skin on his head was burned off, requiring him to wear a full surgical mask to prevent scars from getting infected.

Doctors said that they cannot continue his skin-graft surgery until his damaged windpipe is strong enough.

He is not allowed to attend classes at kindergarten due to personal safety issues and concerns about how he might affect other children, according to his father.
