As part of its strategy to take its battle against corruption down to the grassroots level,the BJP core group on Thursday decided to hold state level and district level marches demanding Prime Minister Manmohan Singhs resignation over the coal block allocation issue from next week. From September 17 to 24,we will hold the campaign across the country demanding the Prime Ministers resignation. Manmohan Singh is the first and the main accused in the coal scam. He should resign, BJP general secretary Ananth Kumar said briefing about the decision taken during the meeting of partys core Group chaired by Nitin Gadkari. Apart from district units campaign across the country,the partys national leaders and senior state leaders will lead Raj Bhavan Chalo marches in the state capitals to petition state governors demanding the Prime Ministers resignation. The party core group will meet again on September 25 to assess the feedback received from its weeklong campaign and plan the future strategy that will be announced during partys national executive and national council meeting slated for September 26-28.
