Bihar activist shot after complaint on MNREGA work

A 48-year-old lawyer who had filed a complaint with the vigilance department against a Muzaffarpur mukhiya in connection with alleged corruption in MNREGA,was shot dead Saturday.
The police said that Ram Kumar Thakur,advocate and member of the Bihar MNREGA Watch,a Muzaffarpur-based organisation,was shot dead at Ratnauli village under Maniari police station. The police suspect the involvement of Ratnauli mukhiya Rajkumar Sahni and his son.
