Mamata Banerjee had resigned from the NDA government because of one scam; the BJP has questioned why she remains with the UPA in spite of a number of scams. She resigned because of then Defence Minister George Fernandes alleged involvement in the coffingate scam, BJP spokesperson Ravi Shankar Prasad said,adding she stayed out even after the charge was proved wrong.
