The BSPs Tamil Nadu unit president K Armstrong was arrested on Sunday in connection with the Dr Ambedkar Law College campus violence of 2008. Armstrong is contesting against Deputy CM M K Stalin from Kolathur constituency. His arrest follows a Supreme Court ruling directing the DGP to explain why the 11 accused named as absconding in the chargesheet were not arrested.
