Two-wheeler manufacturer Bajaj Auto launched Pulsar 135 LS priced at Rs 51,000 ex-showroom Delhi,which marks the company8217;s foray into entry-level bike segment.
8220;Bajaj Auto has a serious plan to become global number one and there are many programmes being developed for this purpose,8221; Bajaj Auto Two-Wheeler CEO S Sridhar told reporters here after launching the Bajaj Pulsar 135 LS.
Commenting on Pulsar LS 135,Sridhar said it had many firsts including a four valve DTS-i engine. It has a top speed of 115 kmph and accelerates to 60 kmph in 5.1 seconds.
The company aims to sell 75,000 units of the motorcycle in the next three months in India,he said,adding that the latest offering was aimed at the 18-30 age group.
The company intends to sell a million Pulsars next year,he added.
