Amitabh Bachchan’s poetic evening on the sets of Aarakshan

The shooting of Prakash Jha’s Aarakshan is underway at a hectic pace in Bhopal. The film that takes a look at the government’s reservation policy is being shot partly on the sets and partly in some colleges. The start-to-finish shoot took off in early February and will get over on March 16.

With such a long schedule all the actors like Amitabh Bachchan,Saif Ali Khan,Deepika Padukone,Pratik and Manoj Bajpayee wonder how to spend the little bit of free time that they get.

One evening,Amitabh Bachchan called the entire cast together for a poetry session. “He enthralled us by reciting his father’s,the late Harivansh Rai Bachchan’s poems. I was specially touched,because my journey as an actor took off when I recited Shri Rai’s poems in front of my class when in standard five,” said Manoj.
