Prasoon Joshi talks about his Ghajini experience
In B-town, everyone is on song, even if it is a shaven, tattooed Aamir Khan who can8217;t remember his phone number. Little wonder, Prasoon Joshi found himself penning poetry for all the brawn and brawl on display in Ghajini. 8220;It is a pacy thriller with a lot of action and high energy, but the songs are extremely important to the narrative,8221; says Joshi who has written five songs, all composed by AR Rahman, for the Khan starrer.
The film is a remake of a Tamil movie that was released three years ago, with songs written by N. Muthukumar, but Joshi says the Hindi soundtrack is completely original. 8220;I did not even listen to the southern version as I did not want to be influenced in anyway,8221; says Joshi, who, however, watched bits of the film.
