The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) on Tuesday announced a deadline extension for online applications for the upcoming GUJCET 2026 (Gujarat Common Entrance Test) examination.
The last date for application, which was earlier December 30, 2025, has now been extended by a week to January 6, 2026. Now, students aspiring admission in degree engineering and degree, diploma pharmacy courses will get more time to apply. The GUJCET 2026 examination is expected to be held in March is a mandatory entrance examination for candidates of Group A, B and AB of Class XII Science stream.
According to a press release issued by the GSHSEB on Tuesday, booklets with detailed information regarding the examination and instructions for filling the online application form are available on the board’s website, gujcet.gseb.org. Candidates can apply online from the board’s official website http://www.gseb.org as well. The exam fee for GUJCET has been fixed at Rs 350. This fee can be paid online (credit card, debit card, net banking) through SBI Epay System or through the ‘SBI Branch Payment’ option of SBI Epay at any SBI bank branch in the country.
All school principals, parents, students and all concerned have been requested to take note of these details, said the release.
