NEW DELHI, April 15: Delhi team Indian Airlines will clash with JSH Brothers of Bihar in the final of the 49th All-India Sheesh Mahal cricket tournament at Lucknow on Friday.
Yesterday, JSH Brother beat Apace XI to enter the final. Put to bat, JSH Brothers were all out for 209 runs in 45 overs. But later they bowled out Apace XI for 175 runs in 42.2 overs, according to information reaching here.
In the other semi-final, Indian Airlines had defeated RDSO by eight wickets. A brilliant century by skipper Vijay Dahiya (101 not out) and his opening wicket partnership of 105 runs with Onkar Singh (38) helped the team from Delhi prevail over Research Design Standard Organisation (RDSO), Lucknow.
Put to bat, RDSO could manage only 155 for nine wickets in the stipulated 45 overs. The team opened the innings disastrously, losing first three wickets with only 11 runs on the board off 3.5 overs. Opener Chetan Sachdeva kept his end intact while wickets fell at regular intervals at the other end. He was unbeaten with 62 runs with two boundaries in his 151-ball inning.
