Victims can8217;t afford lawyer

NEW DELHI, Jan 15: Attorneys and Advocates Amitabha Sen and Co. will be filing a civil suit on behalf of the Artists for Empowerment, to try and get the families of the BMW victims a decent compensation. The firm has decided to fight the case free of cost. 8220;We will ask for damages based on the net worth of the accused, which will run into crores8221; explains attorney Amitabha Sen. 8220;Only a huge compensation will hurt them. We are not talking in thousands here because that would not hurt them.8221;

Sen is fighting this case free of cost. 8220;It is unfortunate that the accused have a battery of lawyers to defend them while the victims cannot afford a lawyer,8221; Sen says. 8220;Top lawyers should come forward and defend them.8221;
