Wild boy
IMRAN Khan sure has a wild streak. The actor, who made a very chocolate-boy debut with Jaane Tu8230; Ya Jaane Na, plays a villain in his second release Kidnap. Apparently, one of the scenes required Imran to jab a knife between the fingers of co-star Minissha Lamba, and director Sanjay Gadhvi preferred to use a real knife during the close-ups to make the scene look authentic. Luckily for Minissha, Imran is quite a pro at this stunt, since he has been doing it from his school days. Says the daredevil Khan, 8220;I love doing that and if you look at my hand closely, I still have a few scars from the days when I used to do it.8221;
Sir 8216;Ruslaan8217; Galahad
GOLDEN hearts abound in Bollywood. The latest example is actor Ruslaan Mumtaz who is starring in Satish Kaushik8217;s Tere Sang. The film is being shot in Dalhousie and the weather and terrain have been playing havoc with the overweight filmmaker. The shooting required the cast and crew to climb up a hill, which took 20 minutes, but the director used to take much longer on account of his weight and his asthma. Ruslaan saw the director in distress and instructed his boy to inform him every time Satish climbed up the hill, so that he could join the sufferer and give him company. Such chivalry.
Clash of fashion
THE fashion world has suddenly become every filmmaker8217;s latest muse. Madhur Bhandarkar8217;s Fashion is almost ready to be released, but another release on the same theme hopes to give Madhur a run for his money. Sanjay Khandelwal8217;s The World of Fashion also explores the seamier side of fashion. A clash of the titans at the box office? We think not.
