MUMBAI, MAR 6: The Indian cricket board has nominated Srinivas Venkataraghavan as its lone umpire to officiate in the May 14-June 20 World Cup in England along with eleven other umpires from eight other full members of the International Cricket Council (ICC).

The complete World Cup umpires list (To officiate as ground and third umpires): England: David Shepherd, Peter Willey; India: Srinivas Venkataraghavan; New Zealand: Steve Dunne, Doug Cowie (ICC’s Special Invitee); Pakistan: Javed Akhtar; South Africa: Rudi Koertzen, Dave Orchard (ICC’s special invitee); Sri Lanka: KT Francis; West Indies: Steve Bucknor; Zimbabwe: Ian Robinson; Australia: Yet to nominate its choice.

To officiate as fourth (reserve) umpires

Bangladesh: Sailab Hossain, Kenya: Subhash Modi, Scotland: William Smith.
