Senior Congress leader Veerappa Moily, a strong advocate of multi-tasking, has got another job on hand. Already chairman of the Administrative Reforms Commission and the AICC’s Media Cell, Group to Look into Future Challenges & Opportunities, Department of Policy Planning & Coordination as well as being in charge of Andhra Pradesh, Moily now has to fly to and from Bangalore several times a week as Karnataka Governor Rameshwar Thakur has been seeking his help in running the state, currently under President’s rule. While Congress leaders shower encomiums on Thakur for his efficiency as Governor, they also point out that he regularly touches base with AICC treasurer Motilal Vora, who has gubernatorial experience as former representative of the President in UP.
