CM to open meet today
Chief Minister Keshubhai Patel will inaugurate a seminar on `Water Agriculture Campaign’ at Fertilizernagar on Tuesday. While Narmada Development Minister Jaynarayan Vyas will be the chief guest, Dr Vidyut Joshi will be one of the speakers. The seminar has been organised by GSFC Science Foundation and the Saurashtra Maitri Manch.

Five students were caught copying during the second year B Com and M Com annual examinations of the M S University on Monday.
VMC meeting
Proposals to assess property on the basis of built- up area and arrears to civic employees in connection with the Fifth Pay Commission recommendations will be taken up for discussion in the Standing Committee meeting of the Vadodara Municipal Corporation on Thursday.
Horse-riding
Trails has organised a 10-day long course on basic horse riding for Navrachna High School students beginning Tuesday. The course will be conducted from 7.45 to 8.40 am and 4.30 to 5.20 pm at the Trails Horse Riding grounds at Laxmi Vilas Palace.
New eye bank
An eye bank, run jointly by the Jamnabhai Hospital and the District Blindness Eradication Society has been opened at the hospital. Awarded Ph.DMONICA Bhanot, a lecturer in the Department of Political Science, M S University, has been awarded Ph.D for her dissertation on `Contemporary Global Priorities and Regional Dynamics in South Asia’.
