UTI bond fund

MUMBAI, Nov 2: The Unit Trust of India UTIbond fund corpus crossed Rs 1000 crore mark as on October 30, 1999. According to a UTI release, the corpus increased by 47 per cent to Rs 1015.58 crore as on October 30,1999 from Rs 689.40 crore as on June 30, 1999.

The fund, an open-ended fund investing purely in fixed income securities like corporate debt, government securities and money market instruments, has given reasonably high returns from a portfolio that has a low risk profile.
