New Delhi, Nov 18: Injured Union minister of state for food processing Syed Shahnawaz Hussain, who was flown in here late last night by a special BSF aircraft, has been admitted to the Ram Manohar Lohia hospital, hospital sources said today.

The minister was brought straight to the RML hospital from the airport for check up and medication, the sources said.

“CT scan and x-rays have been taken besides other normal check ups and senior doctors are observing his condition," the sources said.

A moving AC sleeper bus caught fire on the Jaisalmer-Jodhpur Highway, leaving around 20 people dead and many others with severe burns. The bus, carrying 57 passengers, caught fire due to a short circuit and quickly engulfed in flames. The Jaisalmer District Collector has requested family members to identify the deceased.
