PUNE, April 8: The Lonavla police yesterday rearrested history-sheeter Santosh Ananda Ovhal, one of the 14 undertrial prisoners who escaped from a van carrying them to Yerawada Jail from the district and sessions court at Shivainagar in September.
Ovhal had gone to meet a history-sheeter in Lonavla when he was arrested. His accomplice, Raju Digambar Shinde, has also been arrested. Inspector Dilip Shinde claimed that last month8217;s sensational robbery at the Maganlal Chikkey shop at Lonavla has been solved with the arrests.
