
JAMMU, Aug 15: Marking a major breakthrough into the recent killing of 35 people in Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh, the Punjab Police have arrested a top Hizbul Mujahideen leader, along with two of his accomplices from Pathankot.
According to sources, the arrests were made a few days ago and the arrested militant leader has been identified as Billu Gujjar, deputy commander of the Hizbul Mujahideen operating in parts of Udhampur and Doda districts. The Punjab Police have called the Army officials from the State for interrogating the arrested militants, they added.
