CHENNAI, March 10: Tamil Nadu Electricity Board Chairman M B Pranesh said that the Escrow agreement between the Board and Videocon International, the private promoter of the 1050 MW thermal power project, will be signed next week. The Rs 5,135 crore project, coming up in north in Chennai, is expected to be commissioned by 2002-2003. The TNEB has directed Videocon to achieve financial closure by March 31.
