Two farmers from the district and another from adjoining Buldana in west Vidarbha region allegedly committed suicide.
Pravin Najukrao Modak 23 of Sangwi village consumed poison on Friday, due to repeated crop failure and increasing loan, sources said. He was rushed to the district hospital where he died while undergoing treatment, hospital sources said. In another incident, Shivram Shankar Hatole 70 of Tulanga village consumed poison in his field on Independence Day. in Buldana, Kisanrao Gulabrao Deshmukh 55 of village Pangarkhed consumed poison on August 14.
