New delhi, Sept 1: The bjp yesterday admitted that the three core issues abrogation of Article 370, Uniform Civil Code and Ram temple at Ayodhya were still a part of its policy document which had been put on hold for five years.Newly-elected BJP president Bangaru Laxman, who resigned from the post of Minister of State for Railways today, told reporters that the BJP had adopted a national agenda for governance, drafted by the NDA, till the next elections.Laxman also ruled out any confrontation between the RSS and BJP, saying they were two different organisations with different views. Replying to the BJP's criticism by Vishwa Hindu Parishad and the Swadeshi Jagran Manch, he said they too were independent organisations having their own agenda.Laxman conceded that there was growing indiscipline among the rank and file of the party but warned that immediate action would be taken against all acts of indiscipline. The BJP chief pointed out that from a strength of 17 lakh when the BJP was formed two decades ago, the party's membership had grown to three crore. He said political camps will be organised at village level to educate grass-root workers about the party's policies and principles. The Chennai Declaration will be the guiding principle in this case, he added.Laxman clarified that it was not for the first time that he was appealing to party workers to interact with Muslims more frequently in a bid to remove any misgivings in their minds. ``My predecessors have also made such appeals. I have only given greater stress as I want to mobilise them (Muslims) in greater numbers,'' he said. Asserting that the BJP's motto was justice for all and appeasement of none, he said the party was determined to practice this both in letter and spirit. ``A significant number of Muslims had already been attracted towards the BJP. They have begun to see through the self-serving propaganda of the opponents to mislead them by raising the bogey of communalism,'' he said.Replying to a question, he said the BJP was not, is not, and will not be a party with one-point programme. He also stoutly denied that the Government was soft-pedalling on the Kashmir issue.Commenting on India's stand over signing the CTBT, he said that the Government may be under pressure to sign it when the Prime Minister visits the US in September but there is a unanimity in the country on this issue.
