Swami Vivekanand8217;s 136th anniversary

NEW DELHI, Jan 24: On the occasion of 136th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekanand and in memory of Pandit Barumal Khanpur a function was organised by Onkar Dutt Sharma, chairman and programme officer, NSS Gandhi Memorial Sarvodaya Bal Vidyalaya, Babarpur, in Shahdara.

Over 250 blankets, 11 sewing machines, 51 school bags, shoes and woolen clothes were distributed among widows, the poor and the disabled.

Prominent among those present at the function were Lal Bihari Tiwari MP, Naresh Gaur MLA, Onkar Dutt Sharma and R.P. Garg principal.
