Mahajan in city today
Union Information Minister Pramod Mahajan is visiting Surat on Wednesday. He will lay the foundation stone of a High Power TV Relay Centre at 10.30 am at Sachin. Kashiram Rana will preside over the function. In the evening, Mahajan will attend a function organised to honour Rana on his birthday.
Rally, satsang
A satsang programme will he held at Jahangirpura Ashram of Sant Shree Asha Ram Bapu, who turns 58 on April 7. Tripatiben, a Sadhvi from Ahmedabad, will be present for the programme which will begin at 9 am. At 3 pm, a procession will be taken out, which will pass through Sardar Chowk, Railway station, Laldarwaja, Lalgate, Bhagal, before culminating at Chowk Bazaar.
Singing contest
The South Gujarat Youth Development and Recreation club is organising The Best Singer of Gujarat 8217;99 contest8217; on May 16 at Sayyed Wada. BJP yatras
