NEW DELHI, NOV 8: The Government is likely to increase by 6.4 to Rs 56.10 per quintal the statutory minimum prices for purchase of sugarcane. The higher SMP mooted by Agriculture Costs and Prices Commission is to be taken up by the Cabinet tomorrow.
