Satya Paul, the snazzy Indian label that makes slinky, geometrical saris is the latest designer to open up in The Emporio, Vasant Kunj. The evening began with a live jazz performance attended by city socialites like Ashi Burman, Kiran Arora and Naseeb Kapoor. Located on the first floor of the mall, promoters Sanjay Kapoor, Jyoti Narula and Puneet Nanda above seem unperturbed by the serious competition in luxury retail in this mall; Rohit Bal, Tarun Tahiliani, all have stores here. 8220;Our clients come here for a distinctive look,8221; says Sanjay Kapoor, who planned the launch to coincide with the festive season.
