KOCHI, APRIl 11: Panic prevailed for some time among police and security officials after an electric bulb-like material with two wires projecting from it was recovered last night from the gallery of the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium here where Home Minister L K Advani addressed a public meeting on Sunday.
According to police, the material with a paper covering was found lying near the water tank in the top gallery by a stadium security personnel who immediately informed the police.
"There is very little possibility that it is an explosive", senior police officials said adding that they were waiting for explosive experts to arrive from Thiruvananthapuram.
The material has been moved to the North police station where it is kept under safe custody and covered with sand.
