Stick to parking rules

CHANDIGARH, May 9: UT IGP Kiran Bedi has appealed to the city8217;s market welfare associations to cooperate with city police regarding market parking.

Addressing a meeting of association office-bearers here yesterday evening, Bedi said that if the associations make arrangements to man the parking points, beat officers will cooperate with them. The station house officers will meet them regularly.

A large number of representatives from various markets turned up for the meeting, as a result of which it had to be held outdoors instead of at the traffic auditorium. Various other problems were also discussed at the meeting.
