NEW DELHI, July 24: Rajya Sabha Chairman Krishan Kant today expressed concern over the deteriorating law and order situation in Delhi and directed Home Minister L K Advani to make a statement in the House on this issue. The statement is likely to be made on Monday.
Kant made the observation when agitating Congress members demanded the dismissal of the Delhi Govt, holding it responsible for the lawlessness. The Chairman said it was a serious matter and the HM should make a statement.Congress MPs Suresh Pachouri, Jitendra Prasada and Urmilaben Patel raised the issue.
