NEW DELHI, DEC 27: Karnataka staged a remarkable rally in the last five minutes to beat last year8217;s semi-finalist Tamil Nadu 78-71 in a Group A match of the Pepsi National Basketball Championships at the Talkatora Indoor Stadium here today. Bihar took it easy against Maharashtra 78-68 and Services toyed with Railways 87-77 in other men8217;s section matches. Delhi women topped their group with an all-win position to qualify for the knockout stage.
However, Maharashtra women, after playing a fine game yesterday against AP, had to overcome initial hiccups against traditional rivals Madhya Pradesh to register a 60-45 21-23 at half time.
