MUMBAI, Sept 28: St Anthony8217;s Club defeated Chemburites 4-3 2-2 full time in the tie-breaker to enter the final of the eighth Our Lady of Perpetual Succor Parish football tournament.
Shivshankar scored twice for Chemburites while Ansel D8217;Silva did the same for St Anthony8217;s at the OLPS Ground, Chembur on Sunday.
In the tie-breaker, Gavin Mendonca and Ansel D8217;Silva scored for St Anthony8217;s while Manoj Mathew scored the only goal for Chemburites.
Earlier, Chembur Stars cruised into the final defeating Rock XI by Vicky Samant8217;s solitary goal.
Kishen win
Kishen Nagar SC beat Rabindra Sangha 3-1 in the final of the sixth Bengal Trophy football organised by Mulund Golden Sporting at Baba Saheb Ambedkar Ground today.
Tony Das scored two while Gopal Das netted one for the winners. Raju Mandal got the consolation goal for Rabindra Sangha.
