Special prayers held to mark Valmiki Jayanti

The Bhagwan Valmiki Youth Sabha celebrated Valmiki Jayanti at Shahi Mohalla here today.

The Bhagwan Valmiki Youth Sabha celebrated Valmiki Jayanti at Shahi Mohalla here today. On this occasion, special prayers were held and langar was organised. Afterwards, bhajan mandlis recited bhajans related to Bhagwan Valmiki. Avtar Krishan Tari, the area councillor, was also present on the occasion. The Sabha honoured Pardeep Handa and Surinder Vasudev for their cooperation.

Valmiki Ekta Welfare Society, Punjab, also celebrated Valmiki Jayanti here today, under the presidentship of Ajay Kumar Sidhu at Virasat Bhawan, Pakhowal Road.

Jagdev Singh Jassowal, president, and Shiv Singh, former chairman of the Ludhiana improvement trust, were the chief guests on the occasion.
