Six persons including two women and three children were brunt alive when their house was set afire by their neighbour.

Six persons including two women and three children were brunt alive when their house was set afire by their neighbour over an illicit relationship at a village in Kheri district of the state, official sources said.

The incident took place last night when house of Chhanu Bhurji, who allegedly had an illicit relationship with her neighbour Rekha was set afire by two persons, they said.

Accused Dharmendra Maurya and his uncle Mangu were arrested by the police, they said adding Dharmendra’s mother had an illicit relationship with Chhanu.

Those killed in the incident were identified as Bhurji, his wife Kanti, Rekha (Dharmendra’s mother), three children Mohini (5), Rohini (1.5) and Rohit (10), they said.
