Gyan Bharti score 51-run victory over Chetan Sharma Academy
Sohit’s fine spell of bowling (5 for 15) and 42 runs by Ankur Julka enabled Gyan Bharti School defeat Chetan Sharma Cricket Academy by 51 runs in a limited overs tournament for under-14 boys at SS Khalsa College ground.

Batting first, Gyan Bharti scored 179 runs losing nine wickets in the alloted 30 overs. Ankur Julka (42) was the highest scorer for the side. Chasing the total, Chetan Sharma Cricket Academy were allout for 119 in 26.4 overs. For losers Akshay (35) scored the highest.

Delhi Colts prevail over Bodyline
Raman Khanna with his stroke-filled 72 led Delhi Colts Crciket Club to six wicket win over Bodyline Cricket Club in a cricket match. Restricting Bodyline to 187 for eight in 30 overs, Delhi Colts made 191 losing four wickets in 28.4 overs. While Raman Khanna remained not out at 72, Pardeep Yadav contributed with 35 for Delhi Colts. For losers, Subhash was the highest scorer with 36 followed by Gyanendra, 29.
Brief scores: Bodyline CC: 187/8 in 30 overs (Subhash 36, Gyanendra 29, Jagdish 23 no, Anil Batra 2/26, Girdhar 2/26, Randeep 2/33) lost to Delhi Colts CC: 191/4 in 28.4 overs (Raman Khanna 72 no, Pardeep Yadav 35, Girdhar 24, Randeep 21, Rajinder 2/38).

NSCC defeat Guwahati team
National Sports Cricket Club defeated Guwahati Coaching Centre by 16 runs in a 50 overs match at National Stadium. The highlights of the match was an all-round performace by NSCC captain Pardeep Diswal and Palash Jyoti Das of Guwahati team. The Guwahati Coaching Centre is in Delhi from September 1 and will play four matches during their 20-day long tour. The team from Guwahati has four Ranji Trophy players in their ranks. It also consists of under-19, under-16, under-14 national level players.
