Uttar Pradesh triumphed over Delhi by seven wickets in Pool C match of the 14th All India telecom tournament at Harbaksh stadium. R S Pawar was the top scorer for the winners. In other matches, MTNL (Delhi) outwitted Mahhrashtra by nine wickets in Pool B match at Saket. In the same pool Orissa lost to MP by 29 runs at Delhi University grounds. Shri Kailash of MP took three wickets giving 20 runs while D Anand of MP who scored 55 runs off 58 balls was the top scorer. In pool D match, MTNL (Mumbai) crushed Rajasthan by a huge margin of 107 runs at Jamia Millia. In the last match of the day, Tamil Nadu overcome Punjab by three wickets at Yamuna sports complex.

Harmeet hits 102
A stroke-filled unbeaten 102 off 83 balls by Harmeet Singh Gill and excellent bowling by Swaran Singh (5 for 21) guided Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee Club to victory over Ministry of Commerce Club by 63 runs in the Sunday league match of Champion Cup at Harkishan Public School, Vasant Vihar.
DSGMC scored 227 for four in 40 overs. Harmeet Singh Gill (102 not out), Inderpal Singh (29) were the top scorers while Swaran Singh (5 for 21) and Balbir Singh (2 for 39) were the main wicket-takers. In reply, Ministry of Commerce were skittled out for 154 in 27 overs.
