
Doull adjudged best
The judges 8211; Sunil Gavaskar, Viv Richards and Tony Greig 8211; considered the performances of the players in the matches played during this period which were West Indies vs South Africa, India vs New Zealand and England vs Australia.
After shortlisting Alec Stewart, Simon Doull, Dean Headley, Steve Waugh and Sachin Tendulkar, the judges finally selected Simon Doull as the winner for his match-haul of nine wickets against India. Doull will be presented 500 for becoming the BPL Player of the Week.
This is a weekly award and will be given to the cricketer who performs the best in international cricket in a week. The BPL Week is from Friday to Thursday.
Air-rifle shooting camp
The venue will be the Airrifle shooting range, A-I basement, Raja Shivaji Vidyasankul, Hindu Colony, Dadar East, Mumbai 400 014. The camp is being held in collaboration with the Maitree Sanghatana and National and International-level champions will be available as trainers.
