PUNE, May 3: Cash and other articles, totally worth over Rs 24,000 were stolen from two adjoining shops at Wadgaonsheri on Pune-Ahmednagar Road yesterday.
The unidentified thieves forced entry into Rajendra Bhandari8217;s Sagar Provisional Stores and an adjoining grocer8217;s shop by breaking the locks and bending the shutters with a crowbar, Yerwada police said.
Cash of Rs 22,000 was stolen from Sagar Provisional Stores. A tape recorder was stolen from the grocer8217;s shop, they added.
