Former Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday said he is willing to launch an agitation against President Pervez Musharraf along with Pakistan People’s Party leader Benazir Bhutto.

Speaking to a news channel over phone from Saudi Arabia, he said, “If Benazir abandons her negotiations with Musharraf, we can work together and launch a joint struggle.”

Sharif appealed to the former Bhutto to join hands with the All Party Democratic Movement (APDM).

He said “perhaps APDM and PPP can coordinate efforts in launching a joint struggle.”
