SURAT, DECEMBER 23: After the peaceful shilanyas of Ram temple in Halmodi in the district yesterday, the focus of attention has now shifted to Dangs district for the visit of Shankaracharya of Karwarpeeth on Christmas day.Security has been beefed up in the area, which has witnessed an orgy of violence about a year back. Though it has been officially declared that Shankaracharya will not address any public meeting in Dangs, it is still not clear as to what function the VHP or Hindu Jagran Manch have organised to welcome him.The officer on special duty for Surat and Dangs and former district collector S K Nanda could not confirm the exact programme
