CHANDIGARH, Oct 8: Defending champions DAV Senior Secondary School-8 and last year’s runners-up SD Public School-32 maintained a clean slate in the second Rao Jai Singh memorial basketball tournament being played at New Public School-18.
Both the teams have won all their league encounters and will clash for top honours tomorrow.
In the match today, SD-32 beat NPS-18, 39-21. Half time score was in favour of SD school 24-9.
Suresh and Chander Prakash with 12 and 11 points led the SD school attack while Jetinder (8) was the main scorers for the losers.
In another match DAV-8 thrashed Guru Nanak Public School-36, 67-20, to lock horns with SD School for the title.
For DAV-8 Amrish top scored with 21 points while Harjot contributed 10 points to the score.
Amit got 15 and Jagpreet 9 points for GNPS-36.
GNPS-36 beat Shivalik Public School-41, 43-39, in the last match of the day.
