
AHMEDABAD, June 3: The Police on Wednesday arrested about 10 people in three different incidents the state for possessing Indian Made foreign liquor which valued approximately Rs four lakh in the open market. Of the three incidents, two were reported from the city and one from Nadiad.
On Wednesday police intercepted two autorickshaws near the Ramol water tank and recovered 200 bottles of Indian Made foreign liquor valued Rs 95,000 in the open market. In another incident, the Vatva police raided Satnam Guest House and arrested four persons who were enjoying a liquor party. In the third incident Nadiad police arrested Balabhai Ambalal Parmar and Jagdish Ravji Patel for possessing 158 cartoons of IMFL.
Predictions: The State will witness normal monsoon as well as crop production this year, predicted Vedhshala chairman Agnihotri Shukdevprasad Vyas on Thursday. Vyas said total rainfall this year would remain about 60 to 65 pc of average rainfall.
