Sachin Tendulkar added another feather to his cap, becoming the first batsman in the world to cross the 16,000-run mark in ODIs. It was the 399th innings of his 409th ODI.

8226;It has been an 18-year, 50-day journey to this milestone.

8226; At home: 5766 runs at an average of 46.12 with 16 centuries and 33 half centuries off 142 ODIs.

Away: 10,241 runs with 25 centuries and 54 fifties at 43.21 off 267 ODIs.
